GARDEN TIPS for June
PLANT HEDGING - NATIVES - SCREEN TREES - FRUIT TREES - DECIDUOUS TREES NOW, let them get over the shock of transplanting and have their root system ready to take off in spring.
Time to plant your ROSES: Roses should all now be in your garden Centre. Winter is the best time to put your roses in, while they are dormant.
Camellias, Azaleas, Rhododendrons will all be in from now on. Ideal to plant now and settle ready to take advantage of late winter and spring flowering.
Pruning and spraying: Cut back any dead wood in your fruit and deciduous trees and trim to shape. Spray with Copper to help prevent any fungal diseases.
