We are currently seeking mentors who are interested in becoming involved in this extraordinary and valuable programme.

A mentor is an adult willing to spend time, have fun and form a supportive friendship with a child. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things you can do.

It's more fun than you realise and flexible enough to fit your schedule.

Anglican Care Waiapu - Tararua Family Services
We work with children and families and we have some very kind ladies who knit scarves, slippers, hats and other things that are given to children for free. If anyone has any extra or left over knitting wool we would very much appreciate it. Please contact us on 374 5029 or drop it off to 8 Ward Street Dannevirke (We can come and collect it if it is easier)

Dannevirke Judo Club 
Wednesday Night at the Judo Hall down the hill of the Lower Domain, Juniors 6.30 to 7.30 6-14 years old Seniors 7.30 to 9.00 14 years and older Come give the this sport a go, its great for fitness, making new friends, self defence and more. Judo is a contact sport that uses throws and submission, there is no punching or kicking in Judo. Come give it a go today.

THE DANNEVIRKE COMMUNITY TOY LIBRARY
Dannevirke Community Toy Library has moved to 35 York Street. Right next to AMP Wai Splash Indoor Pool Complex. We are open: Wednesday 2.30 - 5pm  Thursday & Friday  9.30 -11.30am.  Opening the first & third Saturday of each month from 5th November: 9.30-11.30am.

Viking Choir meets every Monday evening at 7 PM in the High School music room.
The Viking Choir is a non auditioned choir, for everyone who enjoys sing.

Free Plunket Parent Education Programme (pepe)

Courses coming up deal with issues such as dealing with crying and sleeping issues, bonding with baby, baby sign language, reading with baby and baby's first foods.

Ruahine Ramblez Marching Team
Looking for marchers to join our team.
We are Leisure marchers and practise weekly we travel weekends to marching days. Our Team has 10 to make a team and at present we have not got a full team.  Marching is a very keep fit sport friendly & fun.  All welcome
